LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Program Office of Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center located in Washington Navy Yard, Washington D.C.


  • You will integrates all logistics elements into cohesive support strategies that align with expeditionary operational requirements.
  • You will oversee and analyze budgets for system requirements over the program life cycle.
  • You will provide advice and guidance to program and line managers on interpretation and formation of technical, functional, and program management strategies.
  • You will ensure the configuration management process is maintained throughout the life cycle.

Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing advisory services for guiding program strategies, integrating logistics solutions, and assessing requirements and policy impacts; 2) Identifying and resolving capability gaps; AND 3) Shaping doctrine, processes, and strategic planning.
